The Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) recently ordered the pullout of four Chinese products from the market after testing positive for formalin.
The government is to establish its first database on the inspection and quarantine of imports and exports to keep producers up to date with the latest safety requirements, the country's top quality control watchdog said.
