 Qingdao
International Convention Center (QICC) enjoys a beautiful
view along the seashore and has a convenient traffic. It collects
the exhibition, convention, hotel, food and beverage, travel
and recreation as a whole. It was put into use in July, 2000.
With an indoor exhibition area of 50,000 m2, QICC can hold
3000 international standard exhibition booths and its outdoor
exhibition area reaches 80,000 m2. It includes a luxurious
conference room which can cater up to 400 persons, six meeting
rooms (each has a capacity of 200 persons), and many negotiation
rooms and VIP rooms. With a snack area of nearly 10,000㎡,it
supplies delicious food and beverage service.
An automation of building control, fire control, security
surveillance , communication and network information system
has been realized in QICC. It has established a broad network
with both domestic and overseas exhibition agencies and has
joined IAEM. And it has passed ISO9001:2000 Quality System
Qualification.
QICC is full of praise for its advanced facilities and high
quality service, which is an ideal place for holding large-scale
exhibitions and conventions. A lot of reputed international
exhibitions have been held here, such as one of the top three
global fishery expositions "China Fisheries & Seafood
Expo", "China International Consumer Electronics
Show", "APEC Medium & Small Enterprises Technology
Conference and Fair", "New Drugs China", "China
International Marine Fair", "National Hardware Fair",
"National Commodity Fair of Motorcycle and accessories",
"China Animal Husbandry Expo" and "Auto Parts China".
With the gradual perfection of exhibition facilities, the
exhibition amounts of QICC will increase at a speed of 10-15%
yearly.
