Taiwan-Invested Enterprise Increases Investment in Chengdu

Recently, the electron-grade alkali-free glass fiber enhancement thread project with annual production of 60,000 tons invested USD100m by Chengdu key Taiwanese-invested enterprise, TG Chengdu Glass Corporation, was successfully signed in Federation of Taipei Industries.

It was reported that completion of the project will fill the gap of Sichuan electron-grade alkali-free glass fiber enhancement thread, which will not only bring the economic benefits of annual sales amount of RMB450m and tax of RMB120m for the area but also provide plenty of raw materials for post-disaster reconstruction.

TG Chengdu Glass Corporation has in succession invested USD145m in Q ingbai jiang to have constructed 3 phrases' projects since 2003.

After the Wenchuan earthquake, new-type building materials will be badly needed, so TG Chengdu Glass Corporation will exert full efforts to promote new projects to launch construction as soon as possible to contribute to post-quake reconstruction.

According to the introduction of TG Chengdu Glass Corporation Chairman Lin Bofeng, the company increased investment of USD100m, which is the largest investment scale since 2003, and total investment in Qingbai jiang base will reach USD245m.
