Terry Gou, president of Foxconn Technology Group, the recent stage for several suicides, disclosed Tuesday that the company plans to move its manufacturing plants to the western part of the Chinese mainland.
Many of the factory's employees are from West China, and according to him, the transference will help them ease the pressure putting them close to their hometowns and families.
Media reports said that 80,000 employees would be transferred.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been 12 suicide attempts with 10 succeeding.
