Reporters learned from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information that Shanghai will launch 10 important measures to guarantee the output value of Shanghai's new high-tech industries to increase by 100 billion yuan.
In 2009, the outline for Shanghai's new and high technology industrialization work had already been formed, and relevant plans and supporting policies were also established. In 2010, the emphasis of the work will move to the implementation and particularly focus on landmark projects, landmark bases and landmark industries. According to industrial planning, the output value of the main realms of Shanghai's new and high technology industrialization will increase by over 100 billion yuan to reach 840 billion yuan, up 14 percent compared to that of 2009.
