According to Sweden Industrial Daily, Bombardier, the global-leading manufacturer of railway transport equipment, has become the winner of global transportation industries, and Bombardier Sweden's corporation mainly produces the equipment of locomotive promoting, control system, metro carriage as well as signal.

In 2007, the turnover of Bombardier Sweden increased by 25%, amounting to SEK4.8b (about USD800m).

In the past year, orders of the company doubled so that the factory located in Vasteras had to hold the talks with the Trade Union to shorten the summer vacation of 600 staff to 3 weeks.

Bombardier Sweden Chairman Klas Wahlberg expressed that the company's turnover this year will reach a high record, and they will thank the Beijing Olympics due to its promotion of business increase of the company in Asian market. Moreover, the company also got large-amount orders from Sweden Rail Freight, Oresund traffic line and SNCF.

At present, Bombardier Sweden faces the problems of technology and lack of engineers.
