Airbus Contributed to Help Earthquake-stricken Area in China

Thomas Enders, the president and CEO of the Airbus, paid a special visit to China, and by representing all the staff he donated RMB5m to the people in the earthquake-stricken area through Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China on May 20, including RMB120, 000 donated by the staff of Airbus voluntarily.

Meanwhile, the Airbus united with China Aviation Supplies to contribute 10 sets of stretcher equipment being professionally used for the airplane emergency rescues, which amounted to USD300, 000 (more than RMB2.1m).

This equipment can improve the security and efficiency when delivering the wounded by airplanes.
