Investors applying for establishment of foreign-invested venture investment management enterprises shall submit to the approving authority the following documents: the contracts and articles of association of the venture investment management enterprises; the certificates of registration of the investors (copies); the certificates of the legal representatives (copies); and other documents with relation to the applications required by the approving authority. The expression "Venture Investment Management" shall appear in the names of foreign-invested venture investment management enterprises. Except foreign-invested venture investment management enterprises, other foreign-invested enterprises shall not use "Venture Investment Management"  in the names of the enterprises.

Overseas venture investment management enterprises that are approved to engage in commissioned management of venture investment in China shall handle business registration with the registration authority within 30 days upon the approval of the management contracts. Applications for business registration shall be submitted together with the following documents, the authenticity and validity of which shall be ensured: the applications for registration signed by chairmen or authorized representatives of the overseas venture investment management enterprises; the contracts for operation and management, and the certificates of approval issued by the approving authority; the articles of association or the partnership agreements of the overseas venture investment management enterprises; the certificates of legal operation of the overseas venture investment management enterprises; certificates of credit status of the overseas venture investment management enterprises; the letters of authorization for persons in charge of the Chinese projects issued by the overseas venture investment management enterprises, and the resumes, identification papers of the persons in charge of the projects; and the certificates of the business venues of the overseas venture investment management enterprises in China.

The above-mentioned documents shall be made in Chinese, and standard Chinese versions shall be available if these documents are made in foreign languages.
