On April 22, a group of noted enterprises at home and abroad such as Sany Group, Goldwind, Genzyme, and GSK with 14 projects of investment amount of RMB18.4b went to Beijing.

It was estimated that the sales amount would reach RMB37b after all the projects are completed. Guo Jinlong, mayor of Beijing and Miaowei, deputy minister from the Ministry of Industry and Information attended the signing ceremony of the second batch key projects of Beijing industry 2008.

In order to speed up the optimization and upgrading of industry structure, Beijing succeeded in attracting a group of internal and external noted enterprises such as Sany Group, Goldwind, Hina Group, Genzyme, GSK and Canada Novartis as well as Xiuzheng to invest by helping project investors looking for potential cooperation partners, suitable project construction sites and launching individual policy consultation and follow-up service.
