According to consensus made at the 11th Working Meeting of the Hong Kong-Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference, relevant task force of both parties from Hong Kong and Guangdong signed 11 cooperation agreements on promoting the implementation of CEPA as well as transformation and upgrade of processing trade enterprises, strengthening cooperation between Hong Kong and Guangdong in such fields as education, medical treatment, tourism, social service, technology innovation and emergency management, and especially earnestly implementing first-trial policies of opening up Hong Kong¡¯s service in Guangdong.

The Economic & Trade Commission of Guangdong Province and Commerce and Economic Development Bureau of Hong Kong SAR singed Cooperation Agreement on Accelerating the Implementation of CEPA and Supplementary Agreement V.

The Agreement lays importance on establishing first-trial measure system of notification, consultation and supervision.

Every quarter or half the year, both places of Hong Kong and Guangdong each in turn hold a coordination meeting on policy implementation to inform information, exchange data and materials, put forward problems, and urge for examination to provide institutional guarantee for jointly deepening implementation of CEPA.
