So far, Norway-based Kongsberg Maritime, a renowned global vessel control system supplier, and Zhenjiang Marine Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. (ZMEA) entered into an investment agreement on establishment of Zhejiang Kongsberg Marine Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd.

Kongsberg Maritime is a well-know enterprise in marine automation, navigation and positioning systems.

The JV it founded with ZMEA will mainly produce marine low-voltage electrical appliances. Kongsberg Maritime is the first world-class giant in ship industry that settled in Zhenjiang, which may boost the development of ship industry of the city.
