According to the key projects list of Chongqing Municipality 2008, RT-Mart, one of the World Top 500 enterprise and Taiwan¡¯s largest chain supermarket, will invest RMB450m to build a large supermarket in Wulidian of Congqing. Details are under negotiation now.

As reported, RT-Mart had cooperated with Shanghai Ever Bright Town Co., Ltd. to develop inland market since 1998 and had more than 90 branches in inland of China nowadays, with the total revenue reaching approx. RMB28b last year.

Added by the number of French Auchan hypermarkets of which it holds shares, RT-Mart, in fact, has accounted for the largest market share of the industry in China¡¯s inland.
