Du Ying, a vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, said on May 5 that an omni-directional, multilevel and wide-range opening-up pattern had been formed after over 30-year reform and opening-up, and near 480 enterprises of the World Top 500 had invested in China.

Du expressed in the National Economic System Reform Conference which held in Wuhan that from 1978 to 2007, China had actually utilized foreign investment over USD760b accumulatively, ranking No.1 in that of developing countries and No. 2 in that of the world.
