Yi Xiaozhun (center), vice-minister of commerce and deputy director of CIEF, yesterday pays a visit to all the staff working for different departments at the 102nd CIEF that is currently underway.

He visited the trade delegations and chambers of commerce, showing great interest in the way they have treated the fair as an important brand building opportunity and in how well their deals have been going.

Yi was particularly interested in IPR protection measures at the fair, and expressed satisfaction with steps taken to settle  disputes over trademarks and patents, as well as the introduction of arbitration.

He spoke highly of the process of solving trade disputes by arbitration, which was implemented by fair organizers for the first time in this session.

Yi also made the rounds of the exhibition hall for small cars and components at the Pazhou Complex.
