Zhang Zhigang, CIEF deputy director and chairman of the executive council of China Foreign Trade Center, met with a four-member Costa Rican delegation headed by Foreign Trade Minister Marco Vinicio Ruiz at Pazhou Complex yesterday.

Zhang extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the history and present position of Canton Fair to them. In response, Ruiz said that he was deeply impressed by the exhibition facilities, the extensive range of exhibits and the excellent service of the staff during his first visit to the fair and pledged to promote CIEF to the media when he returns to Costa Rica.

Ruiz paid a visit to Pazhou Complex after the meeting.
